The calculators are estimates

Every result is a calculation from the inputs you provide, using published formulas and reference values cited on each page. Fermentation is a biological process: actual outcomes depend on your ingredients, equipment and conditions. Results are planning aids, not guarantees, and are not food-safety advice. Always use your own judgment and tested recipes for anything you plan to store long-term or serve to others.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We correct reported errors on a best-effort basis - send them to hello@getfermentcalc.com.

Acceptable use

You may use and share results freely. Automated scraping, reselling the calculators as your own service, or attempting to disrupt the site's availability is not permitted.

Privacy

Calculator inputs stay in your browser and are never uploaded. See the privacy page for exactly what is and is not collected.
